Le mot « imparfait » a souvent une connotation négative, qu’il s’agisse d’une faille ou d’un défaut qui doit être corrigé, dissimulé ou évité à tout prix. Mais les imperfections sont en fait une composante nécessaire et très importante de notre existence. En réalité, les imperfections ont même été parfaitement conçues pour nous aider à apprendre et comprendre notre cheminement de vie. C’est uniquement notre perception qui détermine si une chose est parfaite ou non. Pourtant, la plupart d’entre nous s’efforcent d’approcher le plus possible de l’idée qu’ils ont de la perfection, et j’inclus ici les créateurs. Comment nous libérer d’une mentalité perfectionniste et commencer à accepter l’imparfait? L'inspiration de cette série prend son origine d'une pierre semi-précieuse ronde. Chaque pierre émet une énergie unique qui s'imprime sur le tableau. Ce projet a été un travail axé sur le concept de "lâcher prise", en limitant les mouvements précis et en laissant libre cours aux imperfections que je perçois. En fin de compte, une certaine beauté émerge malgré ces "défauts".
